The watch was our riff on that classic, scaled down and accented with the Dimepiece signature shade of purple and a creamy vintage-inspired dial. This time we have decided to black out the case, and strap text - the Noir! Adding to its functionality is Timex's INDIGLO® backlight for night visibility, activated by a dedicated bright Dimepiece purple pusher on the case side beside 9 o’clock. Reducing the size from the original 46mm to a very wearable 36mm was important to tangibly convey my mission to get MORE watches on MORE wrists, as not everyone can pull off the larger case sizes (sadly) inherent in most modern sports watches. I wear this Timex, but Alan wears it too. It looks good on both of us and on most girls, guys, gays, theys... Really anyone craving a sporty, versatile watch for those long, dreamy days in Cape Cod or wherever you \"summer\" (it works just as well on the mean streets of New York City).
