A silver plated rare example of a Dunhill table lift arm petrol lighter. The lift arm lighter was one of the best selling models of the Dunhill line, however this large table version is a very rare. A further rare feature to this lighter is that it also features a pipe tamper on the lift arm. This is theflat end that is used for tamping down the tobacco when the bowl is being packed, and for crushing the ash together to aid relighting.
Made in England, circa 1935
