A. F. Gross. However, it wasn't until his son joined the company that the business took a leap forward. Karl Gustav Hansen began his career early after leaving school at sixteen years old, and became an apprentice to Einar Olsen. His work continued to blossom, and after some traveling around Europe, he returned to Denmark and in 1940, set up with his father in Copenhagen. Sadly, that same year, his father passed, and at aged twenty five, he found himself head of the company. His work was very successful and sought after and the company remained in existence until 1991 when it was bought up by the Royal Copenhagen, owners of Georg Jensen, among other brands.

Signed Hans Hansen.
